With eco-refurbishment and architectural conservation skills we are perfectly suited to projects where our clients are seeking to achieve new uses within historic buildings. We take care to preserve the character and integrity of the original building or site while adding measures to create more space, better access, light or warmth in sensitive ways.

Example Projects

Northenden War Memorial
Northendon War Memorial
A project at inception, this war memorial is in need of refurbishment in order to make it more accessible to those with impaired mobility. Time has not been kind to the hard landscaping around the memorial and for this project we will be installing a level access route and repairing the paved areas.

St Luke's
St Luke's "Bombed Out" Church, Liverpool
We worked with the curators of St Luke's to bring together Historic England and Liverpool City Council. This resulted in funding being found to carry out stabilisation works to protect this landmark grade 2* listed building.

Toxteth Park Conservation Area
Private home, Toxteth Park Conservation Area, Liverpool
A new highly insulated slate roof with new and replacement rooflights and a large system of photovoltaics, go a long way towards making this cold and draughty Victorian property into a comfortable family home.
